Maintenance Technician

SilverBrick is seeking a responsible, dependable Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team supporting residential properties. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, values accountability, and understands the importance of reliability in property operations.

Key Responsibilities

Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders in a timely and professional manner Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repairs, and general maintenance tasks Use mobile technology and property management software to receive assignments, document work performed, track materials used, and close out work orders Assist with property inspections and general upkeep of buildings and common areas Support overall building maintenance with a working knowledge of HVAC systems, boilers, building structures, and roofing Coordinate with porters to ensure properties remain clean, safe, and well-presented Provide excellent customer service by interacting respectfully and professionally with residents and protecting their living spaces during repairs Participate in snow removal and ice treatment for sidewalks, walkways, and garage areas as required Respond to after-hours maintenance calls as part of a rotating on-call schedule

Mandatory Requirement

Snow removal is a mandatory and essential function of this position.

Employees must be available to report to work for snow and ice removal during weather events, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently Strong communication skills and willingness to follow established procedures Comfortable using mobile devices and maintenance software Ability to respond to time-sensitive situations, including weather-related events Must report to work clear-headed and ready to perform assigned duties Prior maintenance or property management experience

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
