We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure smooth facility operations.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Operate and calibrate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to support manufacturing processes.
Conduct welding repairs and fabrications as needed to maintain machinery and structural components.
Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment to identify electrical faults accurately.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Oversee facilities maintenance projects, including residential painting, repairs, and upgrades.
Supervise junior team members or contractors during maintenance tasks, providing leadership and guidance.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards during all maintenance activities.
Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
Experience
Proven experience in facilities or manufacturing maintenance, with a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Hands-on expertise with schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex machinery.
Demonstrated ability to operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) within an industrial setting.
Skilled in welding techniques for repairs and fabrication projects.
Electrical experience including use of diagnostic tools like ohmmeters for fault detection.
Experience with CMMS software for work order management and record keeping.
Supervising or leadership experience is preferred to guide team members effectively.
Knowledge of residential painting techniques is a plus but not required.
