Description:
Establish, manage, and execute maintenance programs. Ensure operation of all machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on production machines, motors, equipment, and tools. Perform mechanical repairs on production and facility related equipment. Coordinate preventative maintenance and repairs with plant supervisors. Communicate plant equipment repair/operational status to maintenance manager and operations leadership team. Safely operate tools and equipment needed during the repair and servicing of equipment. Performing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system, and other repairs and installations as needed; read and interpret pneumatic and hydraulic schematics and diagrams; ability to design, build and install simple pneumatic and hydraulic systems Maintaining clean and organized work areas, and cleaning up work areas as part of completing assigned tasks Accurately and completely preparing and maintain maintenance records and other paperwork Utilize maintenance computer system to enter notifications, time, research parts, manuals, drawings, etc.

Requirements:
3-5 years of machinery maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to work all shifts Strong mechanical, industrial, hydraulic, and pneumatic skills preferred Ability to fit up bearings, bushings, pulley and belts on shafts. Ability to troubleshoot motor start circuits. Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic circuits. Ability to work independently. Troubleshooting skills for manufacturing and facility equipment. The ability to accurately use and read a variety of measuring devices; well-rounded electrical, mechanical, and machine shop skills and experience The ability to learn, and the ability to follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as a member of a team.
The maintenance supervisor evaluates maintenance technician qualifications.
Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability

Physical Requirements:

Frequent movements include walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements. Able to lift 50 pounds. Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment. * Working in temperature zones may include hot environments for extended periods and may include work in environments where dust is present.
