We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Maintenance Technician to join our team and contribute to our mission of excellence.

As a Commercial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks across our commercial properties. This role involves responding to maintenance requests, providing HVAC support, coordinating with third-party vendors, and performing general repair and maintenance work. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong technical skills and a commitment to high-quality service in complex commercial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Complete all maintenance requests within 48 hours, unless circumstances dictate otherwise Provide HVAC-related support, including filter replacement, reviewing Building Automation Systems (BAS), temperature adjustments, and related tasks Coordinate with third-party vendors for specialized or complex trade work Repair and replace locks, adjust door hardware, and perform general carpentry tasks Troubleshoot plumbing issues and perform minor plumbing repairs (e.g., replacing seatings, unclogging drains and toilets) Replace light bulbs, lamps, shields, ballasts, and related components Install and replace carpet squares and vinyl floor tiles Perform minor painting and touch-up work

Competencies & Qualifications:

Proven experience in commercial maintenance or a similar role

Large-scale facilities management experience required

, such as hospitals, multi-family properties, or high-rise office buildings

HVAC, refrigeration, and food service equipment management experience strongly preferred

Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance practices Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently and effectively Experience with Building Automation Systems and building access software preferred Proficient in basic carpentry and drywall repair techniques Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment Relevant certifications or technical training in HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, or related fields preferred
