Position Overview



The Maintenance Technician / Property Care Team Member is responsible for ensuring all our homes are kept in excellent working condition, proactively maintained, and quickly serviced when issues arise. This role supports guest satisfaction, owner trust, and the smooth operation of our luxury property portfolio. You'll perform light repairs, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and support inspections to maintain high-quality standards year-round.

Key Responsibilities. Property Maintenance & Repairs



Perform routine repairs including basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC troubleshooting, appliance fixes, carpentry, and general home maintenance. Complete work orders quickly and accurately, prioritizing urgent guest-impact issues. Assess and document repair needs; escalate larger jobs to licensed contractors when appropriate. Maintain hot tubs including water checks, chemical balance, and regular cleaning (if applicable to your portfolio). Work well within a team, be responsible and hard working.

Preventative Maintenance

Conduct scheduled property walkthroughs and seasonal checks (snow season prep, off-season checks, filter replacements, smoke detector testing, etc.).

Turnover & Property Care Support



Assist Property Care team in turnover readiness, ensuring homes are guest-ready (lights, systems, locks, thermostats, trash, patios, garages, fireplaces, etc.). Verify that all mechanical systems and appliances are functioning prior to guest arrival. Support deep-clean days, annual inspections, and quality control initiatives.

Guest & Owner Service



Respond to guest maintenance issues professionally and efficiently. Communicate clearly with the operations team and leadership about completed work, needed parts, and any follow-up actions. Represent SkyRun Park City with professionalism, integrity, and courtesy in all interactions.

Inventory, Tools & Vehicles



Maintain organized supplies, tools, and materials. Report low inventory or needed replacements. Safely operate company vehicles and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Complete standardized preventative maintenance checklist for each home. Identify early signs of wear, safety concerns, or upcoming maintenance needs.

Skills & Qualifications



2+ years of experience in residential maintenance, hospitality maintenance, or a related trade (preferred). Strong troubleshooting skills across multiple home systems. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks daily. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Familiarity with tech-forward platforms (PMS systems, work order apps) preferred. Excellent communication and customer-service mindset. Comfortable with flexible schedules including weekends or evenings during peak seasons.
