Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled

Maintenance Technician - Painting Specialist

to handle daily property upkeep, unit turns, and resident service requests. The ideal candidate will be an experienced painter with a strong eye for detail and the ability to complete make-ready units efficiently.

Responsibilities

Prepare, paint, and finish interior and exterior surfaces using brush, roller, or spray methods Perform make-ready work including drywall patching, trim repair, and surface restoration Inspect and repair walls, ceilings, cabinetry, and other surfaces as needed Measure, mix, and track paint and supply inventory Respond promptly to resident work orders and communicate professionally Follow safety procedures and maintain clean, organized work areas Document completed work and report larger maintenance issues to the supervisor

Qualifications

Experience:

1-3+ years of painting or maintenance experience (multifamily preferred)

Skills:

Strong painting, prep, and finishing abilities; basic drywall and carpentry skills

Knowledge:

Familiarity with general maintenance tasks (plumbing, electrical, HVAC basics)

Other:

Valid driver's license; reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Preferred:

EPA 608 or OSHA 10 certification
