Overview



The Maintenance Technician role is one of the most critical positions within the company. You will be working alongside an experienced team that includes the Orlando Regional General Manager, the Maintenance Coordinator, the housekeeping team and the customer service team to coordinate and verify urgent and trivial maintenance requests in preparation for upcoming guests and current guests.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:



Perform maintenance to our properties such as repairing furniture, unclogging drains, painting, and replacing broken items. Troubleshoot and repair HVAC units, garbage disposals, electrical panels, fuses, plumbing basics, shower heads, sink hoses, changing gaskets, toilet seat lids, wax rings, levers, flaps, drywall, paint, caulking, appliance work, power tools, tile and flooring experience, cement, etc. Minor repairs and general maintenance of small appliances Troubleshoot and configure WiFi routers and door locks Assist with furniture installation, constructing furniture, installation of cabinetry and mounting TVs Removal of garbage and debris when necessary Performing other duties identified or as assigned

What We're Looking For



Prior and proven home maintenance experience Must have their own vehicle Must be able to physically lift heavy products or materials up to 50+ lbs. on a regular basis Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast paced environment Ability to communicate in a timely and effective manner while being accountable for all assigned tasks Wood working and carpentry skills (custom beds, shelvings) Painting and custom wall paint design Electrical (Light installation, LEDs, outdoor lighting, ceiling fan installation) A/V installation Epoxy flooring use and experience Drywall experience Mini Split AC installation Comfortable with tools and installations (drills, levels, mounting hardware). Own personal standard tool set Self-starter with strong time management, punctuality and accountability. Team player who can work well with fellow team members, designers, contractors, real estate agents and other departments. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (required for site visits).

Schedule & Location



8 hours/day (unpaid lunch) (some flexibility may be required based on project timelines). Available 5 days per week, 8 hours per day, weekend availability is preferred Travel to properties is a must.
