Preserve and maintain the physical integrity of the apartment community and facilities Full-time position

in Omaha, Nebraska

Qualifications:

Skilled in apartment maintenance including: Grounds and pool upkeep Appliance repair General carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repairs in both occupied and vacant units including but not limited to:

Conduct regular inspections to identify potential maintenance needs and address proactively Resolve/complete work orders in a timely manner while providing exceptional customer service Troubleshooting and performing routine electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs General building maintenance including appliance repair, carpentry, painting and landscaping Perform preventive maintenance on tools, machines, and equipment Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean work area Assist with unit make readies Assist with maintaining grounds, including pools and snow removal Other related tasks as needed at surrounding properties also owned/managed by Peterson Properties Inc.

Requirements:
Must have multiple years of

verifiable experience

in an apartment maintenance technician role.

Compensation based on experience*.
EPA Certification is preferred. Must have your own basic tools including a smartphone or IPAD Physical demands include constant walking, standing, climbing stairs/ladders and lifting up to 50lbs on a frequent basis. Time management skills, ability to multi-task, and prioritize work Successfully complete background and drug screening

Ability to work an "On Call" rotation
