Job Summary


We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the optimal operation of our facilities and equipment. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for keeping the property safe, clean, and in good working order. This role handles daily repairs, preventive maintenance, and resident service requests, including basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance work. Technicians also assist with apartment turnovers, emergency calls, and upkeep of common areas, ensuring a well-maintained. Your proactive approach will help prevent downtime, improve safety standards, and support continuous production flow. Duties



Perform daily maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and appliance repair. Complete resident work orders in a timely and professional manner. Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and address issues proactively. Assist with turnover of apartments, including repairs, painting, cleaning, and appliance checks. Maintain common areas, grounds, and building exteriors to community standards. Monitor and respond to emergency maintenance needs, including after-hours calls as assigned. Ensure compliance with safety protocols, building codes, and company policies. Collaborate with property management to identify capital improvement needs and track maintenance supplies.

Skills



Previous experience in apartment or property maintenance preferred. Working knowledge of basic building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry). Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying physical conditions. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Knowledge of residential painting techniques for facility aesthetic improvements. Ability to read technical diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and facility layouts accurately. Familiarity with work order management and maintenance tracking. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive attitude toward maintenance challenges. Effective communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork coordination.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
