We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the seamless operation of our facilities and manufacturing processes. Duties

Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Repair or replace faulty components including motors, sensors, switches, wiring, and other electrical or mechanical parts. Operate Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to diagnose faults and perform basic programming adjustments to optimize manufacturing processes. Perform welding tasks for equipment repairs or fabrication projects using various welding techniques. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as plumbing, carpentry, painting (including residential painting), and general building upkeep. Read schematics and technical manuals to ensure precise repairs and installations. Supervise junior technicians or contractors during maintenance projects when necessary, providing leadership and guidance. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations at all times during maintenance activities. Support manufacturing operations by maintaining equipment uptime and optimizing production efficiency. Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client needs promptly and professionally.

Requirements

Proven experience in facilities or manufacturing maintenance with a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems. Knowledge of schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals related to industrial equipment. Hands-on experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and troubleshooting their programming or hardware issues. Skilled in welding techniques suitable for repair or fabrication tasks. Electrical experience including wiring, circuit testing with tools like ohmmeters, and understanding electrical codes. Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and record keeping. Strong mechanical knowledge related to machinery repair, installation, and preventive maintenance practices. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Experience in residential painting is a plus for facility aesthetic improvements. Supervising experience is desirable for leading maintenance teams or projects effectively. Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate tasks clearly across teams. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining safety standards. Pay: $27.00 - $32.52 per hour
