Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing building infrastructure, HVAC systems, cultivation equipment, processing equipment, and retail store facilities. This role ensures all systems are safe, efficient, and compliant with company SOPs and regulatory standards, while supporting production uptime and a positive retail customer experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building infrastructure at cultivation, processing, and retail sites.

Troubleshoot and repair cultivation systems (lighting, irrigation, fertigation, dehumidification).

Support maintenance of processing equipment (pre-roll machines, packaging lines, extraction equipment).

Assist with retail store repairs (lighting, shelving, fixtures, plumbing, HVAC, security systems).

Conduct regular inspections at all facilities to identify repair needs.

Assist with installation and setup of new equipment or store fixtures.

Maintain accurate logs of repairs, service, and parts usage.

Follow safety, compliance, and sanitation protocols at all sites.

Support emergency repairs as needed.

Assist cultivation or processing teams with operational duties as needed to ensure continuity of production.

This position is based on a specific site, but may occasionally be called to assist with maintenance needs across other company sites, including cultivation and retail locations, as needed

Contribute to KPIs including equipment uptime, work order response time, and preventative maintenance completion.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification preferred.

Minimum of 2+ years of maintenance experience in facilities, agriculture, retail, or manufacturing.

HVAC or electrical certification strongly preferred.

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods of standing, bending, climbing ladders, and working in tight spaces.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Comfortable working in cultivation, processing, and retail environments (humidity, odors, PPE).

Pay: From $23.11 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
