We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of our facilities and manufacturing equipment. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment by performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs across various systems. Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure to minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
Conduct welding repairs and fabrications as needed to support equipment and structural integrity.
Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose problems.
Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks.
Assist with residential painting projects and general facilities upkeep to ensure a clean and safe environment.
Supervise or collaborate with team members during maintenance activities while adhering to safety protocols.
Skills
Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in manufacturing or facilities maintenance environments.
Proficiency in electrical work, including troubleshooting circuits and reading schematics.
Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used for automation systems.
Skilled in welding techniques for repair and fabrication tasks.
Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance management.
Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately.
Excellent customer service skills when interacting with internal teams or external vendors.
Supervising or leadership experience is a plus for guiding team efforts effectively.
