Job Summary:

Apartment complex needs to fill an opening for the position of Maintenance Technician. As a maintenance Technician, you will aid the maintenance supervisor and bring additional support to the existing maintenance team in handling basic repairs and preventative maintenance such as, but not limited to, plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry. Looking for a friendly, outgoing, and organized team player that also can work independently and effectively solve problems.

Hours:

Full-time Monday-Thursday 8AM-4PM (30 hrs/wk) with a Rotating on-call schedule every 6 weeks

Compensation:

Completive Hourly

Responsibilities & Job Duties:

- Handling basic repairs and maintenance (plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry)
- Diagnosing and correcting mechanical and technical issues
- Ability to use common tools such as hammers, saws, drills, wrenches, etc.
- Maintenance of exterior property appearance (mow grass, pull weeds, trim shrubbery, remove leaves, etc.)
- Light housekeeping in building common areas (trash removal, cleaning stairwell's.)
- This position requires physical demands such as kneeling, standing, bending, pushing, pulling, climbing
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds

Qualifications:

- High school diploma/GED required
- Experience in maintenance
- Must have a valid PA driver's license
- Must pass criminal background and credit check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 per year
