Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves general maintenance across our Central Indiana shopping center portfolio . The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or lead a team. The Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry standards.

Duties

Perform routine and preventive maintenance. Troubleshoot and repair property management issues. Lead or supervise maintenance projects that require 3rd party contractors. Ensure safety protocols are followed during all maintenance activities to prevent accidents or hazards. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as plumbing, carpentry, or HVAC repairs. Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability. Supervise junior team members or contractors when necessary, providing guidance and oversight.

Qualifications

Proven experience in property management. Strong mechanical knowledge. Skilled in general maintenance person tasks. Supervising experience is preferred for leadership roles within the team. Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate with team members and vendors. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently while maintaining safety standards. Knowledge of maintenance processes or customer service experience is a plus for certain environments. Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
