Position Overview



Hugo Wyoming Management LLC is seeking a skilled, hands-on Maintenance Technician for the White Pine Collection. This role is responsible for the daily maintenance of our hotel and ski area facilities, ensuring safety, guest-readiness, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will be proactive in performing preventive maintenance, groundskeeping, seasonal tasks, and responsive repairs across our premier hospitality and recreation properties.

Key Responsibilities

General Maintenance:

Perform routine and responsive maintenance on hotel and ski area facilities (lodges, cabins, infrastructure) to ensure properties are safe, operational, and consistently guest-ready.

Safety & Compliance:

Uphold all safety standards and protocols in every task. Immediately report and address any identified hazards.

Systems & Work Orders:

Execute preventive maintenance schedules for building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical). Complete assigned work orders efficiently and document all activities.

Groundskeeping:

Maintain all property grounds, including landscaping, irrigation systems, walkways, and parking areas, to ensure a safe and exceptional appearance.

Seasonal Operations:

Conduct essential seasonal tasks, including snow removal, system winterization/de-winterization, and supporting off-season facility projects.

Team Collaboration:

Report to the Maintenance Supervisor and coordinate with hotel and ski area teams to minimize disruption to guests and daily operations.

Qualifications



Required



? 2+ years of hands-on maintenance experience (hospitality or resort setting preferred).

? Working knowledge of core building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, general repairs).

? Experience with groundskeeping and seasonal property tasks.

? Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

? Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

? Availability for on-call emergency response.

Preferred



? Experience in hotel, resort, or ski area maintenance.

? Familiarity with Wyoming's climate and seasonal challenges.

? Knowledge of hospitality and guest service standards.

? Trade certifications or specialized training.

Reporting Structure:

This position reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Working Conditions:

This is a hands-on role requiring work in all weather conditions, including extreme cold. Physical demands include lifting, climbing, bending, and working outdoors in varied terrain. On-call availability for emergencies is required.
