About the Role

We are seeking a skilled

Maintenance Technician

to support our high-volume bread and bakery production facility. This role is critical to keeping our ovens, mixers, conveyors, and packaging lines running smoothly. You'll troubleshoot equipment issues, perform preventive maintenance, and support new installations -- ensuring our bakery operates efficiently, safely, and with minimal downtime.

What You'll Do

Maintain and repair production equipment: mixers, ovens, slicers, conveyors, and packaging systems Troubleshoot and service electrical systems (110V, 240/480V 3-phase), motors, and controls Perform plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and pneumatic system repairs to support plant operations Fabricate and repair machine parts (basic welding, brazing, machining when needed) Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and diagrams to diagnose issues Document maintenance work and communicate with shift leads and supervisors Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and GMP standards

What We're Looking For

Experience maintaining industrial machinery, preferably in

food manufacturing or packaging

Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and pneumatic systems Hands-on skills in welding, fabrication, and using shop tools (lathe, mill, etc.) Ability to read schematics, use diagnostic tools, and solve technical problems under pressure Comfortable with physical tasks: bending, stooping, climbing ladders, lifting up to 50 lbs Flexibility to work holidays and weekends as production requires Must pass a maintenance skills assessment
