Always demonstrate quality customer service

Work alone and or in a team with professionalism and efficiency Take responsibility for the daily repair and upkeep of the property and the preparation of vacant units for occupancy Maintain and keep an inventory of all supplies and equipment Respond to problems and find solutions to any repairs needed on the premises including installation of appliances, HVAC, electrical, and others in a timely manner Ensure adherence to OSHA standards as well as the Company's safety and hazard communications programs, policies, and procedures Work with the service team to ensure the premises is presentable and safe for operations Demonstrate a positive attitude and work ethic to help keep the atmosphere friendly and productive Secure the maintenance shop(s) at the close of every workday Remove snow and ice as necessary Other duties as assigned by property manager and maintenance supervisor. Be available to work on an on-call basis Have standard tools or acquire them over time
Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred 1 year Maintenance Technician experience is preferred Able to lift over 50 lbs. consistently throughout an 8-12 hour workday Must be able to read, write, and perform basic mathematics without assistance Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions Effective communication skills Familiar and compliant with OSHA regulations. Some knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical would be beneficial. Remain on call after hours if necessary. Ability to work overtime if necessary. Reliable transportation is required

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
