Job Description

General requirements:

Under the general direction of the Maintenance Lead the Maintenance Technician will work from verbal and written instructions. The Maintenance Technician will carefully follow any process control listed for any procedure or build process without deviation in a timely manner. The Maintenance Technician will maintain a proper attitude toward their work and their department employees. The Maintenance Technician will lead by example and follow

all safety rules without exception.

Job Duties:

Responsible for maintaining all manufacturing equipment in the facility Performs preventive maintenance on equipment per regular schedule Maintains sprinkler system throughout facility Notifies management of any equipment malfunctions Notifies management of any building problems Maintains all entrances and exits during icy/snowy weather Responsible for training all new maintenance department employees in their duties Assure all employees in his/her department properly use and wear Personal Protective Equipment

Additionally:

Advises the Maintenance Lead and Safety Officer of any unsafe conditions Keeps department and work station neat, clean and safe at all times Leads by example Performs any other work that may be assigned

Job Knowledge and Qualifications:

Above average communication skills Ability to convey a positive and professional image Must be able to read, write and understand normal direction Ability to work effectively with employees, coworkers and management Must be able to safely lift 50 lbs with or without assistance
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Education:

High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:

Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred) Electrical: 1 year (Preferred) Forklift: 1 year (Preferred)
