Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be responsible for maintaining and repairing various systems within our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure that all equipment and facilities are functioning efficiently, providing a safe and comfortable environment for all occupants.

Duties

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Conduct inspections of facilities to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance problems, utilizing schematics and logic controllers as necessary. Oversee residential painting projects, ensuring high-quality finishes. Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate tasks to optimize workflow. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Collaborate with other departments to address facility needs and improve overall operations. Assist in welding tasks as required for repairs or modifications.

Experience

Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively. Leadership experience is a plus, with the ability to supervise and motivate a team. Familiarity with electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and residential painting techniques. Experience reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
