Job Summary

The

Maintenance Technician

plays a vital role in supporting facility operations through proactive maintenance, repair, and installation of equipment and building systems. This position is responsible for ensuring that all machinery, CNC equipment, and facility infrastructure are functioning efficiently and safely. The role involves a mix of hands-on mechanical, electrical, and facilities maintenance work, as well as supporting new construction and equipment installation projects.

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC machines, manufacturing equipment, and facility systems. Support new construction and equipment installation projects, including electrical setup and machine placement. Carry out general facility upkeep involving carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC as applicable. Diagnose and repair minor equipment issues; escalate more complex repairs for external servicing when needed. Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate equipment issues promptly to management. Ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environment while following all safety protocols. Perform other related duties as assigned to support the maintenance and operations teams.

Qualifications & Requirements

High School Diploma, GED, or technical certification required. 2-5 years of experience in facilities or equipment maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing setting. Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and preventive maintenance procedures. Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to stand for extended periods (8-10 hours) and lift up to 50 lbs. Valid driver's license and insurable driving record. Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions in English.

Pay: $29.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
