Good communication skills Computer literate (outlook/property management software) Ability to positively interact with the general public, tenants, vendors, and corporate staff Strong organizational skills Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines General building maintenance skills (painting, cleaning, plumbing, electrical, carpentry) General grounds keeping skills Ability to manage emergency situations Professionalism Listening

Responsibilities of Maintenance Technician:

Maintain good public relations with residents and vendors Assist with annual apartment inspections and identifying action items Report violations of lease and house rules Timely completion of maintenance request, work orders and ensure tenant's maintenance needs are being met Work with manager to schedule vendors and order necessary supplies Perform preventative maintenance duties Maintaining excellent curb appeal Follow policies and procedures Grounds

Requirements:

Job Requirements for Maintenance Technician :

Minimum of 2-5+ years of current and proven experience in multi-family apartment maintenance Basic knowledge and experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, minor fixes such as patching a wall, fixing a doorknob, appliance repair, unit turnovers, and work orders Basic familiarity with use of computers and technology. Navigate at a basic level within web-based applications Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers. Able to work as a team and independently Ability to follow directions, handle constructive criticism and able to communicate well * Able to work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
