Job Description

We are looking for a hard working, highly motivated Maintenance Technician to undertake the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality of multiple vacation homes. The Maintenance Technician is a thorough professional with a practical mind and keen attention to detail. We're looking for an honest individual who is good at problem solving and will not hesitate to raise things to management when necessary. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines. The goal is to maintain the homes and common areas in the best possible condition.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair assigned work orders relating to anything that could break in/around our vacation homes such as faucets, furniture, door latches, towel holders, electrical outlets, ceiling fans, water heaters, appliances, HVAC, irrigation, internet issues, etc. Proactively survey vacation homes and make repairs and improvements to ensure they provide a safe and consistent guest experience across all properties. Document ALL work performed by following our standard operating work order processes and expense reporting procedures. Review house cleaners' and other onsite team members work from time to time to ensure vacation homes are in good working order for incoming guests. Inspect alarm systems, appliances, HVAC, and all general household systems on a recurring basis and schedule repairs when needed. Conduct general upkeep procedures and handyman related tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry, etc.)
Skills

Proven experience as maintenance technician or handyman Proactive, resourceful, and able to troubleshoot and problem solve effectively Strong ability to work independently Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and other residential systems Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills Good physical condition and strength Willingness to be flexible with schedule including working some weekend days and on-call type evening shifts'

Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance required
