Alys Beach is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role supports smooth daily operations by assisting maintenance engineers, adhering to safety protocols, and ensuring a well-maintained environment for our community.

Job Responsibilities

Primary function of the skilled maintenance person is assisting the Maintenance Department with the day-to-day operation of resort maintenance. Assist maintenance staff in making sure all work orders are completed in a timely fashion and with customer satisfaction Provide customer service to homeowners, guests, vendors, and co-workers Complete and turn in all paper work daily Work with homeowners on special projects Drive company truck and/or golf cart to perform assigned duties Perform other related duties as required or assigned

Job Requirements

High School Diploma or GED One year of experience in general maintenance Ability to communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing Ability to perform basic math functions Ability to use standard software applications Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds without assistance Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds with assistance Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to reach, bend, squat, and lift Possession of a valid driver's license Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays Ability to work rotating shifts Ability to work a longer than normal (8 hour) workday Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions with extended exposure to heat, sun, humidity, and cold
