Job Description

Howard Memorial is looking for a Maintenance Tech.

This is a full-time, hourly, with benefits position.

All work and related duties are to be performed in compliance with local and state codes.

Responsibilities:

Operates and maintains equipment such as boilers, air compressors, generators, and refrigeration equipment Records data (temperature, hours of operation, fuel consumption, water levels, chemicals, water titration, etc), reading dials, gauges, and manuals Performs preventative maintenance of equipment, as required, using hand and power tools and conducting periodic safety inspections Performs quarterly Fire Drills and Active Shooter Drills for 3-11 shift Makes rounds (rooftop, out buildings) repairs light bulbs, ceiling tiles, other issues and records data

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent 2 years vocational school and/or similar trade Other vocational or similar trade licensures preferred Previous maintenance experience preferred Ability to read written instructions and labels * US Citizen or Green Card holder
