Maintenance workers are responsible for maintenance and repair work for the Company's facilities and equipment. You will keep things running smoothly and the wheels greased (literally). This requires troubleshooting abilities for a variety of different types of machinery and equipment, like HVAC, electricity, plumbing, dental equipment, and occasionally janitorial and grounds maintenance. Need to be able to respond quickly, sometimes 24 hours a day, and troubleshoot using instruction manuals, blueprints, and necessary tools. The job requires both indoor and outdoor work, and sometimes lifting heavy loads.

Responsibilities:



Coordinates with supervisor and/or with skilled tradesperson for the purpose of completing projects and work orders efficiently. Repairs system component parts, dental equipment, office equipment and facility components (e.g. lighting, heating and ventilating systems, plumbing, electrical, etc.) Scheduling and managing repairs. Maintains work vehicles , tools, inventory and equipment for the purpose of ensuring safe operating conditions. Order supplies and schedule service calls with outside vendors. Reads emails and prepares written materials (e.g. repair status, activity logs, equipment library, inventories, etc.) to document activities and convey information through the ticketing system. Transports a variety of tools, equipment, supplies, etc. for the purpose of ensuring the availability of materials required at the job site. Responds to emergency situations during and after hours to resolve immediate safety and production concerns.

Qualifications:



High School diploma or equivalent Valid Driver's license 1 - 2 years of maintenance experience Computer, Phone, Power and hand tools, adhering to safety practices, handling hazardous materials
