How you'll contribute

This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and guests. Key duties include general cleaning tasks, supply management, and ensuring safety standards are met in coordination with plant operations.

Perform dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, and trash removal Replenish toiletry and linen supplies consistently Inventory and order cleaning supplies and equipment Work with the plant operations team to maintain a safe, risk-free environment Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and hospital standards

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma, GED or combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.


Licenses/Certifications

Valid driver's license preferred.

Experience:

Previous housekeeping in a hospital setting preferred.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform routine cleaning tasks of patient rooms, offices, and public areas while ensuring a safe and risk preventative environment within OSHA
regulations.
Ensure that adequate linens are kept in the hospital. Report any situations that may affect health and well-being of patients or employees. Assure that supply closets are kept clean and orderly. Responsible for disposal of trash, waste, and other disposable materials in accordance with OSHA. Report any needed repairs immediately to supervisor. Submit any patient personal belongings left behind to nursing supervisor. Follows P&Ps for terminal cleaning of a room. Follows instructions in use of germicidal solutions when cleaning. Use safety precautions in all housekeeping services.
