to lead a team of technicians in maintaining and repairing bakery production and packaging equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure equipment reliability, drive preventive maintenance, and promote a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise, coach, and develop maintenance technicians.
Plan and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure timely completion of work orders.
Enforce safety, food safety, and GMP compliance.
Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
Manage parts inventory and coordinate with vendors as needed.
Support equipment installations, upgrades, and small capital projects.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
4+ years of industrial maintenance experience (food or manufacturing preferred).
2+ years of supervisory or lead experience.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Proficiency with CMMS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Comfortable working at heights and in a fast-paced production environment.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying temperatures.
Frequent walking, climbing, and use of hand tools.
Work Environment:
Food manufacturing facility with loud noise and moving equipment.
Occasional exposure to heat, humidity, and airborne particles.
