The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for all Maintenance and Reliability for their assigned platform (group of assets). They are accountable for working with their peers in Operations and Engineering to deliver Safety, Quality, OEE and Cost goals. Reporting into them will be a nightshift Maintenance Supervisor as well as the A and B shift Maintenance Technicians.
Oversee the maintenance of equipment per manufacturers and internal specifications by ensuring the completion of PM's, initiating work orders, and integrating into the maintenance team during rebuilds and supplementary repairs.
Lead PM downs for A and B shift to ensure compliance to scheduled downtime, work completion, jobsite 6S and efficient startup. Ensure nightshift PM completions to target.
Help build and support the predictive maintenance strategy for
Lead Root Cause Failure (RCA) problem solves of failed equipment and teach Technicians how to do it effectively as well.
Participate in new/modified machine design reviews and provide input on reliability needs
Understand the MRO budget, manage spending to comply with targets for the department
Provide guidance to troubleshoot PLC and automated equipment.
Use Innovaptive to assign work orders, run reports and ensure resources are allocated effectively.
Manage the PM program for the platform to ensure 90% or greater PM completion rates
Assign Technicians to jobs in order to efficiently meet maintenance demands and minimize downtime.
Work with Maintenance staff on various repairs as needed.
Provide leadership (supervision, guidance, coaching, training and technical support) to Nightshift Maintenance Supervisor and A/B shift Technicians. Build capability, conduct performance reviews, reinforce performance expectations, and issue progressive disciplinary actions as needed.
Participation in daily tier meetings, weekly continuous improvement meetings and ensure action items assigned to Maintenance team as completed on time.
Participate in planning staffing levels, assist with hiring process and onboard new employees
All other duties and projects as assigned

Requirements

1 year or more of Lead or Supervisory experience in Maintenance and/or Technical Services
Demonstrated people leadership skills that inspire, motivate and challenge others to be the best versions of themselves
The courage to do the right things, even when they are the hard things
Ability to think, plan and act strategically and tactically and know when it's appropriate for each
Collaborative management style that engages peers and others throughout the facility
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

Competency with Microsoft office applications and ERP systems. Able to proficiently use Microsoft systems to communicate data in a clear and effective manner.
