Job Description

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the prompt and efficient performance of all tasks assigned by the Manager and for the continuous self-improvement of skills and expertise. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the physical condition of the property from both a preventative and corrective standpoint. A certified knowledge of HVAC systems and various appliances such as stoves, dishwashers, disposals and refrigerators is required, as well as familiarity with electricity, plumbing and carpentry. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of the maintenance program and maintenance personnel.

Essential Performance Skills, Duties and Responsibilities ( Not limited to the following):

- Ensures that the residents are provided with a clean, well maintained community.

- Satisfies service requests promptly (within 24 hours) & efficiently

- Establishes ( in conjunction with the Manager) and supervises a regular preventative maintenance program including cleaning of furnaces and A/C coil, oiling motors and circulating pumps, changing of filters, checking smoke alarms, and replacing light bulbs in public areas.

-Supervises, implements and follows OSHA safety programs

- Follows all company policies

-Maintains good relations with residents

- Possesses good organizational and communication skills

- Responds to after hours maintenance calls

- Completes all duties assigned by the Property Manager

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
