Job Responsibilities:

Performing routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damage, for example, window, door or wall repair Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures Working on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs Applying preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems, such as using a sealant on a flat roof Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries Painting the building when old paint has become faded or chipped Perform minor fixes, such as repairing broken locks, damage to walls, etc. Install necessary appliances and equipment as needed Collaborate with a team of workers and other professionals during renovations and facility expansions Report to facilities or maintenance manager regarding issues resolved, those needing attention, and those currently in progress. Operate a forklift to perform duties as needed

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills General passion for creative problem-solving

Education and Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent Proven experience as a maintenance worker or other similar position, preferably in a corporate setting * Experience working with tools, including hand and electrical tools
