Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Staff member to ensure the optimal operation and upkeep of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical and electrical background, with experience in facilities maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. As Maintenance Staff, you will be responsible for performing routine inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance to uphold safety standards and operational efficiency across various systems and equipment. Duties

Conduct regular inspections of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to identify issues proactively. Perform repairs and maintenance on equipment, machinery, and building infrastructure using appropriate tools and techniques. Operate specialized tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for fabrication or repair tasks. Assist with residential painting projects and general facilities upkeep to maintain a clean, safe environment. Supervise or assist with team tasks, providing guidance based on mechanical knowledge and leadership experience. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including proper handling of electrical components and hazardous materials.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience for comprehensive troubleshooting. Proficiency in reading schematics, technical diagrams, and facility blueprints. Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in manufacturing or building automation systems. Skilled in welding techniques for repair or fabrication purposes. Excellent customer service skills when interacting with internal teams or external vendors. Supervising experience demonstrating leadership capabilities within maintenance teams. Knowledge of residential painting techniques for minor aesthetic repairs or improvements.
