'Maintenance Specialist' position based in the US is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our recycling facilities. Join us to contribute your technical skills to a dynamic team committed to sustainable waste management and metal recycling.

Responsibilities

Assist in planning, organizing, and overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance activities for equipment, machinery, and facilities. Support the development and implementation of maintenance schedules (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly) to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. Perform maintenance tasks and repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems as needed. Conduct inspections and risk assessments, reporting hazards and ensuring corrective actions are completed. Maintain and update maintenance records, including downtime logs, work orders, and inspections. Assist with managing spare parts inventory and coordinating with suppliers for timely procurement. Monitor equipment performance and report on reliability, downtime, and improvement opportunities. Participate in improvement initiatives to increase reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements during all maintenance activities. Maintain organization, cleanliness, and order in maintenance areas and work sites. Uphold company values and objectives in all maintenance activities.

Qualifications

Proven experience in facilities maintenance or industrial repair. Strong electrical knowledge and experience with schematics. Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of welding and mechanical systems. Excellent communication skills in English. Supervisory or leadership experience is a plus. Familiarity with CMMS software is preferred.

Pay: $65,000.00 per year
