Wanted: Maintenance Specialist

Location: Port Resources/South Portland, ME

Full-Time | Benefits | Occasional Heroics Required

What You'll Do:

Keep our residential facilities and central office running safely. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment and systems. Work with a team that appreciates your skills. Perform skilled maintenance activities including basic carpentry and plumbing. Assist in the coordination with contractors for larger projects. Through the work order system, prioritize projects and repairs. Provide some lawn care and snow removal in coordination with other contractors. Assist in maintaining accurate and timely documentation of preventive and corrective maintenance such as water testing, septic services, and sprinkler systems. Maintain communication key stakeholders regarding project plans and status. Manage purchasing within established policies, department budget, and input from the Finance Director. Follow all applicable policies, procedures and licensing regulations Participate in a 24/7 on call maintenance schedule. Performs other duties, as requested.
