The Maintenance & Reliability Program Manager provides multi-site leadership for the company's Maintenance Excellence and Reliability programs. This role is responsible for advancing proactive maintenance practices, optimizing asset performance, and building predictive maintenance capability across 9+ flour and ingredient milling locations in the U.S. and Canada. The Maintenance & Reliability Program Manager will lead program rollouts, coach plant teams, and drive continuous improvement in maintenance effectiveness and efficiency. This position requires up to 50% travel to company locations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintenance Excellence Program Leadership
Lead Maintenance Excellence program rollouts and sustainment across all mill locations.
Standardize CMMS (eMaint X5) practices, work order processes, and asset care programs.
Provide leadership and coaching to plant maintenance teams on proactive maintenance systems.
Develop and track maintenance KPIs; drive performance improvement across the network.
Reliability Engineering & Predictive Maintenance
Lead development and execution of RCM-based maintenance strategies across the network.
Facilitate FMEA and failure mode analysis for critical assets.
Prioritize failure modes and select optimal maintenance approaches (PM, PdM, Run-to-Failure, or redesign).
Optimize preventive maintenance tasks and intervals based on asset failure patterns and performance data.
Act as company subject matter expert (SME) for RCM and reliability engineering practices.
Develop and track reliability KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, % Planned vs. Reactive, Predictive Maintenance %).
Lead root cause failure analysis (RCFA) and implement systemic corrective actions.
Continuous Improvement Leadership
Drive continuous improvement of maintenance programs through RCM principles and data-driven decisions.
Maintain a feedback loop to continuously refine maintenance strategies based on asset performance and failure data.
Foster a culture of proactive maintenance and reliability across all sites.
Systems and Data Governance
Lead CMMS data governance to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Develop and support predictive analytics and maintenance dashboards.
Ensure alignment of maintenance strategies with corporate engineering, production, and capital planning.
MRO & Spare Parts Optimization
Standardize and optimize MRO and stockroom management in collaboration with site teams and Procurement.
Lead and support MRO optimization initiatives (e.g., BDI pilot).
Ensure alignment of critical spares inventory with RCM findings and risk-based prioritization.
Leadership & Collaboration
Coach and mentor site Maintenance Managers and teams.
Partner with Operations, Engineering, IT, Procurement, and EHS on maintenance-related priorities.
Build a culture of proactive maintenance and reliability excellence across the organization.
Participate in corporate capital planning and asset life cycle management.
NATURE AND SCOPE

Interacts with plant and corporate personnel. Provides leadership and technical direction for multi-site maintenance and reliability initiatives. Acts as a corporate-level owner of Maintenance Excellence standards. Regularly interacts with corporate leadership and cross-functional teams.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Master's degree a plus.
+ Reliability certification (e.g. CMRP) strongly preferred.
+ 7+ years of progressive maintenance/reliability leadership in manufacturing.
+ Demonstrated success leading multi-site maintenance programs.
+ Strong experience with CMMS systems (preferably eMaint X5).
+ Proven expertise in predictive maintenance and reliability engineering.
+ Proven experience with RCM processes and FMEA.
+ Strong knowledge of MRO optimization and inventory management.
+ Experience applying Lean Maintenance and Six Sigma tools.
LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must have the ability to speak, read, and write fluent English. Must be able to analyze technical documents and regulations. Must be able to prepare clear, concise reports and presentations.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to work with engineering and reliability data; statistical analysis of maintenance performance.
REASONING ABILITY

Advanced problem-solving and root cause analysis skills. Ability to develop strategic programs while also supporting tactical problem-solving at the plant level.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

CMRP preferred; ongoing training required.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Up to 50% travel required to U.S. and Canadian facilities.

This role supports plant environments that include exposure to machinery, noise, dust, and temperature variation. Appropriate PPE required when on-site.
