Job Description

Mountain Village Resort in Stanley, Idaho operates a 61-room Lodge, RV park, Restaurant, Saloon, Dance Hall, Mercantile, Gas & Service Station and many rental properties. We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to fulfill the many maintenance duties throughout our properties. Must be willing to relocate to Stanley.

Compensation: Based on experience and leadership skills

Hours/schedule: Year-Round, Full-Time (Must be able to work a minimum of five days a week and be available to be on call 24/7.)

Skills include, but are not limited to:

Ability to manage a team of maintenance workers and delegate work appropriately

Carrying out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues

Prioritize projects

Knowledge of and abide by all safety standards

Well organized

Able to manage time efficiently

Must be punctual with excellent communication skills

Able to train team members

Manage maintenance emergencies as they arise

General knowledge of:

o Plumbing

o Electrical

o Lawn Care

o Automotive

o Wood working

o Building and construction

o Operating machinery

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Creating schedule for team members

Hiring and termination of maintenance team

Creating priority task lists and follow-up

Specialized and custom projects

Organization and inventory of maintenance sheds and supplies

The maintenance manager will report directly to the owners.

Must be drug free.
