Job Description

We are currently hiring an experienced Maintenance Manager for our clients location in Chicago Heights, IL. The client is a large multi-national producer of steel, iron & aluminum with about 12 locations in North America and they're looking for a Maintenance Manager with a background in steel or a similar heavy industrial environment to lead a team of Maintenance Supervisors, Electricians, Millwrights etc. at their Chicago Heights facility. This is a full time, direct hire position with a the starting salary of $105,000 - $140,000 or more based on experience with paid vacation, 401k, medical etc.

Responsibilities

:

Develop, implement & execute preventive maintenance plans for plant equipment & buildings as well as oversee repairs, rebuilds & installation of equipment. Develop project budgets, scheduling and resource allocation. Drives automation improvement initiatives through PLC programming, troubleshooting and integration of control systems. Lead CAPEX projects relating to equipment upgrades / process improvements. Train & develop Supervisors and all other Maintenance team members as well as conduct employee reviews. Manage Maintenance group budgets, inventory, tools etc.

Education Requirements

:

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineer or a closely related field of study; Masters Degree in a similar field is a plus.

Preferred Certifications

:

Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) PLC / Automation certification
