What You'll Do

Lead the maintenance crew like a pro- offering guidance, mentorship, and a clear vision to keep things running smoothly and our internal teams supported. Set the tone for the team, always pushing for better processes, quicker turnaround times, and top-notch service that keeps everyone smiling (and everything working). Manage relationships with vendors and contractors, making sure any work done at our locations hits deadlines, stays on budget, and meets our quality standards- no shortcuts, no surprises. They're all about keeping things safe and up to code, making sure every job follows local, state, and federal safety and environmental guidelines. They think big-picture- strategically planning how to balance budgets and resources across ongoing maintenance and new projects (yes, they're basically maintenance ninjas). Keep tabs on fuel system components and maintenance records, because someone's gotta make sure the paperwork matches the work-work. Dispatch the maintenance team, making sure the right folks get to the right places at the right time- and nothing slips through the cracks. Handle purchasing for repairs, supplies, and new projects- sourcing what's needed without breaking the bank. Stay on top of building, landscaping, and parking lot upkeep so everything outside looks as great as the work going on inside.

What You'll Need

Solution based thinking- we get five minutes to complain, then we kick tail! You can handle writing an email, chatting with coworkers and outside representatives, or making phone calls with style (and mostly no awkwardness). Effective time management and attention to detail in a deadline driven environment- there are a lot of moving pieces and skunks headed in every direction! Strong interpersonal skills, Able to work effectively with all levels in the organization. Dependable, reliable, flexible, quick - you're like a Swiss army knife but with patience and a smile, always ready to adapt and roll with the punches. Maintain confidentiality better than Grandma guards her cookie recipe from the neighbors.

Requirements

Bring 3+ years of experience in supervising teams, wrangling construction projects, or managing facilities and fuel systems Previous Leadership Experience, and know how to keep contractors and subcontractors on task, on time, and (hopefully) on budget. Have solid hands-on knowledge of construction and maintenance trades, as well as their applications. Armed with knowledge about OSHA, EPA, OPS, ADA, Hazmat, and federal/state regulations- like a walking encyclopedia, but more fun. Have a valid driver's license and a passion for sightseeing, as there will be some travel between multiple Stinker locations. You don't have to be a tech guru, but being comfortable using technical equipment such as laptops, cell phones, and remote devices is appreciated. You don't need to be an Olympic athlete, but you do need the ability to lift up to 90 lbs., balance on a step stool or step ladder, and is comfortable working from floor to roof level.
