Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance / Grounds Man to join our team. This role involves maintaining and enhancing the appearance and functionality of outdoor and indoor spaces, ensuring safety, and supporting various landscaping and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance, construction, and the use of hand and power tools. Responsibilities

Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, hole filling, and trimming to maintain kennels and landscapes Conduct landscape maintenance such as planting, pruning, and shrubbery management Operate landscaping machinery Use hand tools and power tools for repairs, installations, or general maintenance tasks Assist with projects including change light bulbs, patch walls, paint, wash building/fence area/outdoor structures Perform snow removal if applicable Conduct routine inspections of grounds and facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards Check Rodents and Spray for Bugs Support construction projects related to landscape improvements or facility repairs

Qualifications

Proven experience with landscape maintenance, lawn care, or groundskeeping preferred Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and power tools Knowledge of tree trimming, and tree care practices Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently Experience with mowing, gardening, and landscape work preferred Strong work ethic with attention to detail in maintaining outdoor spaces Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects and working outdoors in various weather conditions This position offers an engaging work environment where your skills in maintenance and groundskeeping will directly contribute to the beauty and safety of our properties. Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 - 30.0 per week
