Maintenance Generalists are responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production.
Responsibilities:
- Must be willing to set up, adjust, and break down production line machinery
- Must be willing to learn Tyson SAP software to make work orders and fill out the daily documentation that is required in the system
- Must be willing to read, write, and communicate effectively
- Must be willing to use math as needed to make work-related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc
- Must be willing to complete all required training for the job
\xc2\xb7 Industrial Technology degree or a degree in a related field, or a minimum of 1 year of Industrial Maintenance experience
\xc2\xb7 Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills
\xc2\xb7 Applicants must be willing to stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push, pull, kneel, squat, and reach
Lifting is required in many areas (weight depends on area)
\xc2\xb7 Team Members who hold these positions must be willing to work in either cold, damp or hot, humid environments and these areas may have slippery walking surfaces
\xc2\xb7 Must be willing to lift 70 lbs. on a daily basis and be willing to work on your feet for a period of 12 hours
