Summary of Position:

The Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for managing the storeroom, spare parts inventory levels, as well as maintaining and establishing vendor relations. Communication will be critical to the success of this role, you will be working directly with maintenance technicians, ensuring that they receive the right parts and tools to complete their jobs in a timely manner. As the Maintenance Coordinator you will also be responsible for communicating with the Maintenance Manager, and Maintenance Supervisors daily.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for spare parts inventory, and tool accountability program
• Utilize Fiix for the following: managing inventory levels, attaching parts used to work orders for cost tracking, working with maintenance supervisors to ensure that workorders are written before parts are removed from inventory
• Replace broken tools/equipment as needed
• Work with vendors/suppliers to price, quote, and manage backorders.
• Help maintain vendor relations and communicate spare parts lead times to the maintenance team.
• Prepare scheduled inventory reports for the Maintenance Manager
• Maintain a clean and well-organized parts room, with a labeling system that matches Fiix.
• Preforms cycle counts on inventory to ensure accurate inventory numbers
• Review shipping and receiving documents for new inventory
• Ability to understand and follow safety procedures, as well as wear all necessary PPE (Personnel Protective Equipment)
• Working around equipment and machinery such as tractors, forklifts, and electrical carts
• Produce a minimum output while meeting required high quality standards
• Perform all additional duties as assigned by management

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Basic understanding of hand and power tools
• Working understanding of Microsoft Suite
• Well organized and pay great attention to detail
• Repetitive arm, shoulder, and hand movements the entirety of the shift
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Ability to push, pull and pick or carry overhead a minimum of 25 pounds
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, twist, and grasp

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License
• Forklift Certified, preferred
• 1 year of experience working as a scheduler, purchaser, or inventory control

Supervisory:

• This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities

Work Environment:

Greenhouse, 30%

• The temperatures in the greenhouse vary depending on the weather outside
• Climate can range from hot and humid to cold depending on the location and time of year
• PPE must be worn at all times

Packhouse, 30%

• The temperatures in the packhouse are between 34-38\xc2\xb0 F to preserve product quality
• PPE must be worn at all times

Office, 40%

• Sitting at a desk and/or starring at a computer screen for extended periods of time

Physical Requirements:

• Constantly ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like.
• Occasionally moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.
• Occasionally remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
• Constantly moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
• Occasionally adjusting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions.
• Occasionally performing heavy work that includes moving objects up to 100 pounds or more.
• Constantly repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
• Occasionally operating machinery and/or power tools.
• Occasionally operating motor vehicles or heavy equipment.
