Job Overview

Humanetics is seeking an experienced Maintenance Building Technician to support facility, plumbing, and mechanical system upkeep in our sheet metal manufacturing facility.

This role focuses on building repairs, industrial plumbing, chillers, HVAC support, and general maintenance--not production equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform building repairs (doors, docks, walls, floors, lighting). Maintain industrial plumbing: pipes, valves, drains, restrooms, and utility rooms. Assist with chillers, cooling towers, pumps, compressors, and HVAC systems. Conduct preventative maintenance on facility systems. Maintain exterior grounds, fencing, parking lots, and drainage. Respond to maintenance tickets and urgent building needs.

Qualifications

2+ years building or facility maintenance experience. Industrial plumbing experience required. Basic experience with chillers, pumps, HVAC, or cooling systems. Ability to troubleshoot, use tools, lift 50+ lbs., and work safely. Preferred: HVAC or mechanical certifications. Excellent communication skills in English (Spanish a plus) to effectively collaborate with team members and other departments. Full-time, Monday-Friday, plus overtime or on-call needs. Excellent

Pay: $24.17 - $29.11 per hour
