Position Summary:



The Maintenance Associate is responsible for maintaining and repairing the facility's physical environment to ensure a safe, functional, and welcoming atmosphere for residents, staff, and visitors. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset to support the overall success of the facility.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



Perform basic electrical work, including replacing outlets, switches, and fixtures



Conduct general plumbing repairs and maintenance on copper, PEX, and PVC piping



Complete drywall repair and painting projects to maintain a clean, professional appearance throughout the facility.



Assist with preventative maintenance and respond promptly to maintenance requests.



Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.



Support the overall maintenance team and collaborate with other departments as needed.



Essential Technical Skills:



Basic Electrical Work:

Ability to replace outlets, switches, and fixtures.



General Plumbing:

Skilled in working with copper, PEX, and PVC piping.



Drywall and Painting:

Proficient in drywall repair and painting tasks.



Soft Skills Team Fit:



Work Ethic:

Dependable, self-motivated, and committed to high-quality workmanship.



Collaboration:

Ability to thrive in and contribute to a positive, team-oriented, and resident-centered culture.



Preferred Skills:



HVAC experience is a strong plus.



Qualifications:



High school diploma or equivalent required.



Minimum of 2 years' general maintenance experience preferred.



Ability to use standard tools and equipment safely and effectively.



Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
