The ideal candidate will assist with repairs, preventative maintenance, and facility projects to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
Previous experience doing Maintenance preferably in healthcare
Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and other maintenance equipment
Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
Good communication skills and a profession, courteous approach
Knowledge of various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems

Job Responsibilities May Include:
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on facility equipment and systems
Respond to maintenance requests
Perform inspections of facility systems and report any issues
Help maintain facility grounds and upkeep outdoor areas
Maintain accurate records of maintenance work
Assist in emergency situations such as power outage, or plumbing issues
Ensure resident rooms, common areas, and staff areas are safe, functional and well maintained
Assist with repairs and general building upkeep
Work with the Maintenance Director to prepare rooms for new admissions and discharges
Help ensure the facility complies with OSHA and other safety standards
