Maintenance Assistant
Job Description
Ramsey Village, a continuing care retirement community, is looking for an experienced Maintenance Assistant to join our team. This position is Monday-Friday day hours, with emergency on call responsibilities for 1 week per month. On-call bonus for trips into the facility when on call. Wage negotiable based on experience.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Performing work needed to ready apartments for move-in as assigned.
Performing general maintenance work including plumbing repairs, carpentry work, drywall repair and painting, minor electrical such as replacing light fixtures, repair of HVAC units and some knowledge of heating/cooling systems.
Daily, weekly and monthly inspections required by life safety regulation.
Gaining knowledge of all property emergency, safety/disaster plans and procedures.
Maintaining office, shop, storage, and mechanical areas to Ramsey Village Standards.
