Springs Village Care Center is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance Assistant to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the facility operates smoothly by supporting maintenance activities that keep our environment safe, clean, and comfortable for residents and staff.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance tasks including repairing and servicing equipment, fixtures, and facilities. Assist with preventative maintenance and inspections to identify issues before they escalate. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies. Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and safety equipment. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently. Assist with building repairs, painting, plumbing, electrical work, and grounds keeping as needed. On call availability

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in maintenance or a related field preferred. Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Ability to operate hand and power tools safely. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
