Job Description

Title: Main frame developer,

Key Responsibilities

Design, code, and test

mainframe applications

using

COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS

. Perform

maintenance, debugging, and enhancement

of existing mainframe programs. Develop and execute

batch jobs

using

Job Control Language (JCL)

. Write and optimize

SQL queries

for

DB2 databases

. Interact with

CICS

(Customer Information Control System) for online transaction processing. Participate in

code reviews

, unit testing, and integration testing. Work with

cross-functional teams

(QA, Business Analysts, and other developers). Support

production systems

, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes. Create and maintain

technical documentation

. Participate in

system upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning

.

Pay: $96,015.02 - $115,631.00 per year
