Duties



Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing machinery using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues with precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters. Operate and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to ensure automated systems function smoothly. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks. Conduct repairs involving welding (including welding), low voltage electrical systems, high voltage components, and HVAC/R equipment to uphold safety standards. Use field service techniques to diagnose and resolve equipment failures promptly in a manufacturing facility environment. Assist with installation, calibration, and upgrades of machinery to improve efficiency and productivity. Support safety protocols by inspecting equipment for hazards such as high voltage risks or hydraulic leaks and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Skills



Extensive experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing facility setting. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by industrial electrician experience. Proficiency with schematics, technical drawings, and control systems for troubleshooting complex machinery. Hands-on experience with hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, welding (including welding), and precision measuring instruments. Ability to operate scissor lifts and other industrial equipment safely. Knowledge of CMMS platforms for maintenance tracking and reporting. Familiarity with electrical systems including low voltage wiring, high voltage safety procedures, ammeters, ohmmeters, and electrical analysis skills. Customer service orientation with excellent communication skills in English to coordinate with team members or field service clients. Background in military or industrial mechanic roles is advantageous for discipline and technical rigor. Ability to analyze operational data quickly to identify root causes of equipment issues and implement effective solutions efficiently. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
