Responsibilities



Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on various manufacturing equipment, including hydraulic systems, electrical components, and mechanical assemblies. Troubleshoot machinery issues using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills to identify root causes swiftly. Operate and calibrate precision measuring instruments to ensure machinery meets quality standards. Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to monitor and adjust automated processes for optimal performance. Maintain accurate maintenance records using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for scheduling and tracking repairs. Conduct electrical work involving low voltage and high voltage systems, including wiring, component replacement, and safety checks in accordance with industry standards. Use diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters to evaluate electrical circuits and troubleshoot faults effectively. Assist with welding tasks, including welding techniques, ensuring structural integrity of machinery components. Support field service activities by troubleshooting equipment issues on-site at various locations or customer sites. Collaborate with team members to improve manufacturing processes, safety protocols, and equipment reliability. Operate industrial lifts such as scissor lifts safely when accessing elevated or hard-to-reach areas. Provide excellent customer service by addressing technical inquiries from clients or internal teams promptly and professionally.

Requirements



Proven experience in an industrial maintenance or manufacturing facility environment with a strong mechanical background. Hands-on experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and industrial electrical systems. Knowledge of hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, welding (including welding), and low/high voltage electrical work. Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance planning and documentation. Ability to read technical schematics, mechanical drawings, and electrical diagrams accurately. Strong analysis skills to diagnose complex machinery issues efficiently. Experience operating precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, ammeters, ohmmeters, etc. Industrial electrician experience is highly desirable; military background in maintenance or technical fields is a plus. Valid certification in HVAC/R or industrial mechanic disciplines preferred; certifications in welding or field service are advantageous. Ability to work safely with high-voltage systems and adhere strictly to safety protocols. Excellent communication skills in English for effective teamwork and customer interactions. Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
