Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Machine Operator/Assembler, where your hands-on skills and mechanical knowledge will drive the production of high-quality products. In this energetic role, you will operate machinery, assemble components, and ensure smooth workflow on the factory floor. Specifically, copper wire and cable cutting machines that strip insulation and jackets to exact measurements. We use Komax and Schleuniger machines and we're looking for someone to keep them running more hours of the day.

Duties

Operate various manufacturing equipment and machinery with precision, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards Assemble parts and components using hand tools, power tools, and assembly line techniques to meet production targets Conduct routine inspections of machinery and assembled products to identify defects or issues early on Follow detailed work instructions and production schedules to maintain workflow continuity Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, ensuring a safe and efficient factory environment Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues by applying mechanical knowledge and collaborating with maintenance teams when necessary

Qualifications

Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with assembly lines and production processes Mechanical knowledge or background that supports understanding of machinery operation and troubleshooting Experience with hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques in a manufacturing setting Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects safely, and work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
