Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery within a fast-paced factory environment, ensuring production runs smoothly and efficiently. This role requires mechanical aptitude, familiarity with manufacturing processes, and the ability to work safely with various tools and equipment. Prior experience in factory or warehouse settings is preferred, along with knowledge of assembly lines, hand tools, power tools, and forklift operation. The Machine Operator plays a vital role in maintaining high-quality standards and supporting overall production goals.

Responsibilities

Operate manufacturing machinery safely and efficiently according to operational procedures. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns. Use hand tools, power tools, and assembly line equipment to assist in production tasks. Load and unload materials using forklifts or other material handling equipment as needed. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to ensure workplace safety. Assist with setup, calibration, and troubleshooting of machinery to optimize performance. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and quality standards. Document operational data accurately for reporting purposes.

Requirements

Previous experience in manufacturing, factory work, or warehouse environments is highly preferred. Mechanical knowledge related to machinery operation and basic troubleshooting. Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus but not mandatory. Familiarity with assembly lines, hand tools, power tools, and general manufacturing processes. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with physical stamina for standing and lifting as required. Basic reading and math skills necessary for operation documentation and quality checks. Prior experience with warehouse or factory equipment is advantageous but not essential.
